Friday evening in Hong Kong, Sam Friedman opened his first solo display in Asia at Over The Influence. Entitled Flesh of the Gods, the American artist unveiled a chain of canvases impressed by way of herbal landscapes, which he deconstructs and revises into hazy summary compositions. Through the use of colourful gradients, Friedman is in a position to create intriguing hints of caves, gentle tunnels, seashores, sunsets, and different parts of herbal surroundings in his works.
