Jeff tells us:
I’ve been a Wiccan and pagan since I used to be a teen. As a result of my bloodlines are Irish, Scots, English, and German, I’ve taken increasingly more of an passion within the Celtic and Norse gods and goddesses as I’ve elderly. In 2003 I sat in on a graduate elegance at Virginia Tech, a path that occupied with Celtic and Norse literature, and I were given to learn The Elder Edda, The Prose Edda, and a host of Icelandic sagas. Those readings changed into the foundation for my 3rd ebook of poetry, Ash: Poems from Norse Mythology.
The hammer-wielding thunder god Thor is my favourite Norse deity. I like his warrior manliness, his earthiness, his energy, and his resolution to offer protection to the ones he cares for. I confirmed a number of Thor’s-hammer photographs to my tattoo artist, Shaun Carroll (@shaun.hotrodtat2) at Scorching Rod Tattoo in Blacksburg, Virginia, and he got here up with the design, entire with Celtic knots and Wiccan pentagram.
