For greater than 80 years, a faraway island within the archipelago of Andaman Islands within the Bay of Bengal, served as a penal colony for Indian dissidents and mutineers who attempted to rebellion the British colonial rule of India. Measuring lower than one-third of a sq. kilometer, the tiny Ross Island was notorious for the brutalities inflicted by means of the British upon hundreds of convicts and political prisoners. Ross Island was once the British an identical to the Soviet gulags and the Nazi loss of life camps. The entirety from torture, pressured hard work and clinical experimentation happened right here. The loss of life toll was once immense.
